HEALTH AND INNOVATION DISTRICT CONFERENCE 2023
Thursday 14 December
Conference: 8:30AM to 1:00PM
Networking & Lunch: 1:00PM to 2:00PM
We are pleased to announce the 3rd annual Westmead Health & Innovation District Conference, where we come together to
explore cutting-edge advancements, transport connectivity, commercialisation of research, and transformative ideas that define the future of healthcare, education, and innovation.
Our vision is ambitious—to create a world-class healthcare hub, where the latest medical breakthroughs, educational excellence, and innovative ideas converge to reshape the landscape of healthcare and education. The possibilities are limitless, and we recognise the critical role that collaboration, knowledge exchange, and shared experiences play in this progress.
Over the years, the Westmead Health & Innovation District has seen remarkable growth and development. It’s contribution to the Australian economy, has already earned accolades on a global stage for its commitment to innovation and integrated facilities. Australia was ranked 5th globally by the World Index of Health Innovation, compared to 11th in 2020, ranked 5th in quality for two consecutive years and 3rd in choice. Whilst we celebrate our strengths and achievements, we continue to recognise the areas for growth, ranking 18th globally for science and technology at and 27th in health digitisation.
This conference serves as a platform to build on our achievements, reflect on our progress, and envision an even brighter future. Together, we will explore global trends that shape the creation of dynamic health and education precincts, learning from diverse perspectives and experiences to further strengthen our collective efforts.
Through engaging panel discussions and insightful keynote speeches, we will delve into topics such as leveraging technology for transformative healthcare solutions, harnessing the power of research and education to drive innovation, and reimagining urban landscapes to create environments conducive to knowledge sharing and breakthrough discoveries.
Join us for our 3rd annual gathering for the Westmead Health & Innovation District Conference. Together, we will pave the way for ground-breaking advancements in healthcare, education, and innovation, and inspire positive change that resonates far beyond Western Sydney.
We hope you can join us.
