Over the years, the Westmead Health & Innovation District has seen remarkable growth and development. It’s contribution to the Australian economy, has already earned accolades on a global stage for its commitment to innovation and integrated facilities. Australia was ranked 5th globally by the World Index of Health Innovation, compared to 11th in 2020, ranked 5th in quality for two consecutive years and 3rd in choice. Whilst we celebrate our strengths and achievements, we continue to recognise the areas for growth, ranking 18th globally for science and technology at and 27th in health digitisation.

This conference serves as a platform to build on our achievements, reflect on our progress, and envision an even brighter future. Together, we will explore global trends that shape the creation of dynamic health and education precincts, learning from diverse perspectives and experiences to further strengthen our collective efforts.
